Tone Matrix
I found this on reddit, linked to as “Don’t click this if you need to do anything productive today”, so this blog post is already redundant before I even click “Publish”. Despite this, I’m still writing about it – it’s really that great.

It’s basically a matrix of tones (who’d have thought?) represented vertically, with time represented horizontally. For those interested, the scale is A, B, D, F#, A, which goes some way to ensuring that whatever you come up with sounds somewhat pleasant.

Enjoy, and check out some of Andre Michelle‘s other stuff while you’re at it!

Deadly. That is without a doubt the best flash instrument I’ve ever played.

Pretty cool the way you can choose what the main melody is by following whichever path with your
eyes.

Pity they’re so short. It’d drive you mad. The should make a sequencer for loading up the results
into larger parts.
